ABOUT

Hi, I'm Madison.

I'm originally from Ohio and eventually made my way to Florida, where I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology. Since becoming a therapist, I've continued to pursue specialized training in areas I'm most passionate about, including trauma, EMDR, and OCD treatment.

I've known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to become a therapist. I've always been drawn to understanding people and helping them feel seen, heard, and supported. Growing up, I also witnessed people I love struggle with their mental health and addiction, and I've experienced significant grief and loss in my own life. Those experiences didn't just shape my decision to become a therapist, they continue to shape the way I show up for my clients. I understand that life can be incredibly hard at times, and I believe no one should have to navigate those moments alone.

I don't believe therapists need to be a blank slate. While therapy is always about you, I believe healing happens through genuine human connection. My goal is to create a space where you feel like you're sitting with a real person, someone who will laugh with you, celebrate your wins, sit with you through the hard moments, and gently challenge you when you need it. I want therapy to feel comfortable, collaborative, and authentic.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, or simply feeling stuck, I hope you leave each session feeling a little more understood, a little more hopeful, and a little more confident than when you walked in.

THE CLIENTS I WORK BEST WITH

Whether you're a teen navigating school, a college student figuring out what's next, or an adult in your 20s or 30s feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, OCD, trauma, or life's transitions, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and move forward with confidence.

Teens

College students

Young adults & adults

Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who've spent years trying to figure things out on their own.

THEY OFTEN STRUGGLE WITH:

  • Anxiety & overthinking

  • OCD & compulsive patterns

  • Trauma or painful past experiences

  • Perfectionism

  • Low self-esteem

  • Depression

  • Grief

  • Major life transitions

  • Relationship challenges

Credentials & Training

I value lifelong learning and regularly pursue advanced training so I can provide evidence-based care that's grounded in current research and best practices.

I've been working in the mental health field for over six years and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.

I believe therapy works best when there's trust, honesty, and room for curiosity.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you reach out. My job isn't to have all the answers- it's to help you better understand yourself, develop tools that actually work, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Specialties

EMDR THERAPY

EMDR helps your brain reprocess past experiences so they lose their emotional intensity, allowing you to move forward with more clarity, confidence, and freedom.

I'm an EMDR trained therapist and regularly integrate EMDR into treatment for trauma, anxiety, and experiences that continue to feel "stuck."

OCD & ERP

I specialize in OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD.

The more you understand how OCD works, the less power it has over your life. Together we'll learn to recognize patterns, reduce compulsions, and build confidence facing uncertainty.

THERAPY THAT'S TAILORED TO YOU

While EMDR and ERP are two of my primary specialties, I don't believe therapy should follow a script.

I incorporate EMDR, ERP, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, somatic strategies, and person-centered therapy- because every person sitting across from me is different.
